"Small is still beautiful ... Even when it comes to your budget ...The ideas are still Big!"
Why be surprised? This is about what it costs!
Design for Print: $25/per hour
(See the sample logo presentation to see what a value this truly is ...).
small business graphics is a primarily a "web-based" business. This is the store front! We have very little interest (or need) to leave the computer, go to an office, or go to your office either -- we have, we will, and we can -- but it's quicker and cheaper this way, for both of us. If you're computer savvy enough to have gotten this far, most of our "business" can be done by web or by email or phone. We love telecommuting, and we've adjusted our rates to reflect that!
Designs for the Web: $45/per hour or ... depending on the complexity of the site you required ... Simple Site: First/home page: $200, Sub pages: $150 each, sub-sub pages: $75 each. Flash, java, forms, custom graphics, etc.: Individual pricing (with out sourcing as necessary, market rates apply) or $45/per hour.
Web Hosting, setup, administration and maintenance: Hosting starts at about $90/per year. Domain Registration and administration; about $15/per name (yes, you can get it yourself for less ... but this can get complicated. Unless you really want to spend too many hours acquiring a complete "tech" education, let us do it). Site maintenance: $45/hour.
Site maintenance: Beyond changing your "weekly special," setup and maintenance can include a lot of testing, uploading, debugging, creating, reminding and many more things more tedious and technical than artistic -- but take heart -- we don't charge you for the complications, we charge you only for the "results" -- we eat the problems. So, if changing a mere five things on your site (which should only take an hour tops) turns into a nightmare five-hour email-athon with follow up phone calls, etc., you still get charged as if everything ran as smoothly as it should.
You can get a lot of this for "free," but free frequently has strings (and limitations) attached. Pop-ups, pop-unders, ads and spam frequently come with "free" packages. Free "home web sites," or "business card" sites are not not usually large enough or flexible enough to insure a professional business image. However, if you have free space, and want to use it either for business or personal purposes, I'll work on making it look as good as I can while designing to its limitations. You can still purchase your own domain name and have it "redirect" to your free web space (about $30) if you need to cut costs initially. Things will get better ... and we hope to build your site as your business and your business needs grow.
Pricing by Project: Call or email for a quote, we'll gladly submit a proposal based on your specific requirements. You'll be thrilled by how eager we are to have your business and keep you as a satisfied client!
Out Sourcing: Beyond what we do, there are inumerable other skills that may be needed before you get your site the way you want it. Forms, word press blogs, custom flash applications - we don't do all of this ourselves - but we do have online resources to other collegues, trusted and skilled firms and free lancers we work with to complete your project(s) while we oversee the over-arching communications design and functions are met. If it's "not our thing" we'll gladly refer you directly to someone who can help you directly whenever possible.
